Come to the third annual Permaculture Action Day at 7 Circles Native American Heritage Center the day before Summer Camp Music Festival opens its gates!
Join the local community for a full day of action, workshops, music, and building ecologically regenerative systems that grow food and provide for human needs. Get your hands in the dirt creating Pollinator Gardens, a Three Sisters Garden of corn, beans, and squash; an Ancestors Garden; and a Kitchen Garden. Plant trees, drum, and dance before Summer Camp!
11:00am: Welcome to Arrive!
11:30am: Opening Ceremony – Cherokee Water Ceremony & Pipe Blessing
12:00pm: Plant Walk & Tour of 7 Circles w/ Jimmy Lakota
12:30pm: Projects Begin!
12:45pm: Sound System Starts Up: NDN CRATES on the 1s&2s
1:00pm: Rolling Lunch Laid Out: Tamales w/ Emily’s Tattoo Tamales
1:30pm: All-Day Gong Fu Cha tea ceremony w/ Alex Resch
2:00pm Power, Governance, Decision Making, & Facilitation Workshop w/ Ryan Rising & Noor Us-Sabah
2:30pm All-Day Demonstration of an Observation Beekeeping w/ Tim Benedict & Sarah Wells
2:45pm: Edible Weeds Workshop w/ Nicole Klinge
3:00pm: s p e c i a l s e t
3:30pm: Midwest Aquaponics Workshop w/ Casey Mulligan
4:00pm: Three Sisters Companion Planting Workshop & Ceremony w/ Ryan & Jimmy
5:00pm: Closing Ceremony
5:30pm: Set Up to Camp Overnight before Summer Camp Music Festival begins
***Please note, anyone camping at Seven Circles must be on site by 1pm of the action day!

Folks who wish to head to the region early to participate in the action day and want to camp at 7 Circles Wednesday night before Summer Camp open its gates on Thursday are welcome to. Please write to us at Contact@PermacultureAction.org and arrive by 1pm on the action day.
